It works similarly to a heavily modified version of Firefox in that regard, e.g. Tor Browser loads as quickly as any other web browser once you have made the modifications. Switch from Manual Proxy Configuration to No Proxy.Scroll down to the Network section and activate the Settings button.Load about:preferences#general in the browser's address bar.Locate Tor Launcher and click on the disable button next to it to disable the extension.Load about:addons in the Tor Browser address bar.Use the search on the page to display _tor.Double-click on the preference to set it to false.Load about:config in the browser's address bar.Attention: I suggest you use a portable copy of the browser to make these modifications and keep an original copy on the computer as well you may then use either one of the solutions depending on what you want to do on the Internet.
